Grande Synagogue Beth Yaakov, Geneva

Beth Yaacov is the main synagogue of Geneva, built over 150 years ago in the Byzantine-Moorish style. Mr. Safra was a generous patron of the synagogue, which was designated in memory of his father, Jacob. The Edmond J. Safra Foundation has continued this significant regular support for the Jewish community of Geneva, in addition to special funding for the construction of a social hall adjoining the synagogue.
