Passing of Mrs. Lily Safra

Geneva (July 9, 2022) — With profound sadness, the Edmond J. Safra Foundation mourns the loss of its Chairwoman, Mrs. Lily Safra.

Mrs. Safra passed away on Saturday, 9 July in Geneva, surrounded by family and friends.

For more than twenty years, Mrs. Safra faithfully sustained the philanthropic legacy of her beloved husband Edmond, providing support to hundreds of organizations across the globe.

The Foundation will forever be guided by the values and traditions that Mr. and Mrs. Safra personified.

Mrs. Safra is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, to whom she was always deeply devoted.
